IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN

I, Sanford Bouton of Virgil Cortland County New York being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefor make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament: That is to say, First, after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give and bequeath to the following named persons to wit- Hannah E. Bell, Madison A. Mynard, Maria L. Mynard, George H. Mynard, and Sanford B. Branch fifty dollars each

Second: I give and bequeath to Clinton D. Bouton and Adalaide A. Richardson, the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars each.

Third: And all the residue and remainder of my estate both real and personal I give and bequeath and devise to be divided equally between them share and share alike to my brothers and sisters hereinafter named to wit: Hiram Bouton, John Bouton, Sally A. Price, Nelly P. Price, Nancy G. Powers, and Lucy J. Stevens.

Lastly, I give and bequeath to my executor hereinafter named fifty dollars as his compensation for the execution of the Trust hereby conferred upon him to be received in full and in lieu of percentage or other payment of the estate except his share of the estate under the Last Clause,

Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint my brother John Bouton to be executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made.

In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal, the 8h day of April in the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy four.

The above written Instrument was subscribed by the said Sanford Bouton in our presence and acknowledged by him, by each of us, and he at the same time declared the above Instrument subscribed to be his last Will and Testament; and we at his request, have signed our names as witness hereto, in his presence and in the presence of each other and written opposite our names our respective place of residence
