I am trying to find information on my g-g-great grandfather John S. ABBOTT. The last name may have been spelled with only one "t". The middle name may be Sewell. Loyal may have been born in either Herkimer Co., NY or Erie Co., NY. Considering the date of Loyal's birth John must have been born in the late 1700's or early 1800's.
