I am looking for any records of my ancestor, William Shelton EASTABROOK(S), EASTERBROOK(S) who was born on November 2, 1859 in Buffalo, NY. I need some record that show's his parents to be Ebenezer H. EASTABROOKS (b. Apr. 30, 1809) and Mary Ann DAY. The 1860 Census for Ward 10 of Erie County shows Ebenezer and Mary A., but their 8 month old child is shown as Joseph, and not William like it should be. Ebenezer, William's father, is reported to have started the Buffalo Daily Sun Newspaper and ran it until he drowned in 1861. I figure if that newspaper is around somewhere, they would have printed the birth announcement.
