Feb. 13, 2011 - Posted filesto the Transcriptions page (Emigration/Transport) from Lisa Booth, who transcribed the UK census showing only those who were born in British Guiana. Nov. 21, 2009: Thanks to a reader for alerting us to a broken link on the History page, the link was removed. A new link was added to the page for Remininisces written by a Hindu man raised in Buxton which provides a look back at the history of the Colony.
Nov. 4, 2009: Added information submitted by Lisa Booth to the Transcriptions page under "Miscellaneous" and "BG/Australian Connections" - this material is about persons born in British Guiana who lived in Australia as well as persons with connections to BG who served on Sandbach ships between Liverpool and Demerara.
