Notice having been given according Same a Meeting of Sundry Persons was convened at the Tannery of Capt. Timothy Edwards at 2 oclock P M for the purpose of forming a Religious Society   James Smith & Wm A Bell were nominated to preside at the Election and Timothy Edwards, Walter L. Barker and James Smith were chosen Trustees of the Soci9ety to be known as the Lexington Flatts Presbyterian Society

Greene County        SS   On the 9th day of March 1830 Personally came before me Bruce C. Smith a Commissioner etc. in and for the County of Green the within named James Smith and Wm. A. Bell both known to me to be the persons who executed the within Certificate and Acknowledged that they executed the same for the for the uses and purposes therein mentioned Set the same to be Recorded
