Theron [Theren] A. Abrams, discharge papers.  Born Dec. 1845, the son of Thomas & Maria {Mattice} Abrams (Abrahams) was raised in Ulster & Greene Co's, NY. In 1864 he enlisted with the NY 15th Engineers, Company E. 1865 discharged @ Ft. Berry, Va.. Moved back to Greene Co. and was married in 1868 in Norton Hill, NY, to Mary E. Prosser born April 1845, daughter to John & Ruth (Hunt) Prosser.

Theren (Theron) Assison, the son of Thomas & Marie (Mattice) Abrams, enlisted with the 15th NY Engineers; February 29, 1864. He was discharged at Ft. Berry, Arlington, Va, June 13, 1865.  In about 1880 he and his family moved to Nebraska, Before his death on December 08, 1913 had been a patient at the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers, Leavenworth, Kansas. He is Buried At: SECTION 24  ROW 11  SITE 31, of Leavenworth National Cem. Kansas.
