Hon. G.S. Nichols

Dear Sir

I have forwarded an affidavit to Mr. Cushing setting forth the facts respecting my removal from office as a Master of School district No. 2, and have referred him to you agreeable to your permission. Now therefore give him such a true statement of the persecution and injuries to which I have been subjected as shall induce him at once (yea! at once) to institute the proceedings demanded and I will be very much obliged to you You told me you held a promissory note against A. Greene. I can collect the greater part of the amount of that note if not the whole and I will undertake to collect the note in a few days or by the end of the Legislative session if you will leave the note with me and authorize me to collect it.

Yours Respectfully,
C.A. Hollenbeck
