The following records of the family of John Klein are transcribed from his personal copy of James Boys’ A Practical Exposition upon the Thirty-Nine Articles of the Church of England (London: Printed for Thos. Caldecott, 1716). The book bears Klein’s bookplate, which reads: “The Property of/ John Klein./ Athens, (N. Y.)” The blank parts of three pages (28, 36 and 73) have been used by Klein to record family information. These records overlap with those recorded in Klein’s family bible. This book is in the collection of Walter R. Wheeler, Troy, NY.
