The Miles Family Cemetery is difficult to find. It is located in the woods, on private property, along Goshen Street (County Route 14), west of Pangman Road, in the Town of Jewett, Greene County, NY. Behind a house designated as Jewett Fire District #236 is a small pond, and to the left of the pond is an old logging road that passes by the cemetery. It is enclosed by a stone wall and there are a number of fieldstones. Most of the people buried here were descended from Captain Daniel Miles and his wife, Olive Hall, of Wallingford, New Haven County, Connecticut.
These inscriptions were read on October 14, 2000, by Susan Neugebauer, the Jewett Town Historian, and Patricia Morrow, the Windham Town Historian.
