AKA Sutton Hollow Cemetery

This cemetery is located in the Town of Ashland. It is also known as the Sutton Hollow Cemetery. It is well maintained and is surrounded by a stone wall with an iron gateway. A small memorial plaque is mounted at the gateway with the following inscription: In memory of Dennis A. Ferris. The cemetery is situated on land formerly owned by Allden Ferris of Ashland and is difficult to see from the road in the spring and summer, when foliage obscures the view. It is located on County Route 10, about a quarter of a mile east from the intersection with Sutton Hollow Road. The right of way to the cemetery is directly opposite a large blue house, and adjacent to the barn.
