Horace Utter  & Benjamin M Hayes do certify that at a meeting of the persons comprising the Acra  Church  & Society in the town of Cairo  & county of Greene  convened at the house of public worship of said Society this the 6th day of March in the year one thousand eight hundred & fifty  agreeably to public notice pursuant to the Statutes in such case made & provided being nominated by a majority of the members of said church & society then present  to  preside at an election then to be held of three trustees for said society  to take the charge of the estate & property belonging thereto and to transact all affairs relative to the temporalities there of and preside at such election & that Russel Webster Silas Utter & Daniel S Lennon  were the persons duly elected by a plurality of voices as the Trustees of the said Acra church  & society  in witness where of we have hereunto set our hands and seals the day & year above written.

State of New York   ss  on the 5th day of June 185o  Peleg C. Mattoon with whom I am personally acquainted came before me & being by me duly sworn and said he was a resident of the town of Cairo in said state  that he saw Benjamin Hayes & Horace Utter execute the foregoing  instrument that he the said Peleg C. Mattoon subscribed his name thereto as a witness & that he knew the said Benjamin M. Hayes & Horace Utter to be the persons described in & who executed the said Instrument.
