Washington Kennedy and Isaac Coffin do certify that at a Meeting of the persons composing the Acra Methodist Episcopal Church and Society meeting in Acra Convened at the house of public worship where said Church and Society have statedly convened for Public worship this thirteenth day of March A. D. 1871  agreeably to public notice being given pursuant to the Statute in such case made and provided being nominated by a majority of the members of Said Church and Society then present to preside at an election of five trustees for Said Society then to be held did preside at such election and that Washington Kennedy, John G. Olmsted, Egbert Yeomans, Isaac Coffin and Charles Stead were the person duly elected by a plurality of voices as the Trustees of said Church and Society to be hereafter Known and designated as the First Methodist Episcopal Church of Acra.

In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the day and year above written

D.  1871, Washington Kennedy and Isaac Coffin to me Known to be the persons mentioned intended to and described in and who executed the foregoing instrument personally came before me and Severally acknowledged the execution of the same for the use and purpose therein mentioned.
