all whom the presents concern
We
whose names and seals are hereunto affixed do certify that in Pursuance of
notice duly given according to law for that purpose at the time of divine
service on the two Sunday mornings now last past, the male persons of full age
belonging to the church , congregation or Society commonly called Episcopal
Congregation of Cairo in the Village of Cairo in which Church Congregation or
Society divine service is celebrated according to the rites of the Protestant
Episcopal church in the State of New York; met at their place of worship in
Cairo for the purpose of incorporating
themselves under the act Entitled “an Act to provide for the incorporation of
religious societies" and the act to amend the same, at which meeting
and by a majority of voices, the undersigned Rev. Ephraim Punderson being
chairman and presided and the undersigned I. T. Day and Henry E. Hotchkiss were
nominated to certify the proceedings of said meeting in conjunction with said
chairman and by a majority of voices. Eli
Brooks and Geo. Wickes were elected church Wardens, and Ira T Day, Horace
Austin, John Lennon, Amasa Matton, Henry E. Hotchkiss, Hiram Hine, Wm. C. Howe,
Harlow Hine were elected Vestryman of said church; and on Monday of the week
called Easter week, was in like manner fixed on which the said office of
church Wardens and Vestrymen
In Testimony whereof we that said Ira T. Day and Henry E. Hotchkiss
together with the undersigned Rev.
Ephraim Punderson have here unto subscribed our names and affixed our seals this
thirteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and
thirty two.

the 5 day of September in the year of our Lord 1832 before me Perkins King on of
the Judges of the Court of Common Pleas for the county of Greene personally
appeared Amasa Keith one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing
instrument who being duly sworn did depose and say the he was present and saw
Ephraim Punderson, Ira T Day & Henry E. Hotchkiss whose names and seals are
affixed to the foregoing certificate sign and seal the same and that the
deponent together with Herman H. Smith did in their presence and at their
request subscribe the same as witnesses,
