Whereas by an Act entitled an Act to provide for the incorporation of Religious Societies passed the 24th March 1801óWe the subscribers Minister Elders and Deacons of the Reformed Protestant Dutch Church or Congregation formed and established at Cats Kill in the town of Cats Kill and county of Green having assembled together at their church in Cats Kill on the first of December in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twoóBy virtue of said Act do by these presents Certify that the trustees of said Church or Congregation and their successors _____ shall as a body Corporate be called distinguished and known by the Name and title of the Minister Elders and Deacons of the Reformed Protestant Dutch Church of Cats Kill

In witness whereof the said Minister Elders and Deacons have hereunto set our hands and seals this day and year first above written.

Be it remembered that on the first day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand and Eight hundred and three Before me Leonard Bronk _____Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in and for the county of Green appeared Abraham Elmendorf and to me personally known who being duly sworn disposeth and said that he will ______ with Peter Labagh Francis Salisbury Frederick Schmid Samuel Van Vechten John Shuneman John Sax Aaron Brandow Garrett Abeel and Abraham Van Gelder and know them to be church persons and that he was present and saw them sincerely sign seal and witness the written Instrument as their Act and Deed to and for uses and purposes therein mentioned and that __ this _____together with Waldron Dumond subscribed their names as Witness all of which is satisfactory to me having ____ or obligations do allow the same to be recorded.
