At a meeting of the members of the third Episcopal Methodist Church of the town of Hunter held on the twenty third day of September 1833 at their usual place of worship pursuant to notice duly given for the purpose of choosing trustees for said church, we the undersigned do certify that at the meeting of said church, held as aforesaid on the day and year aforesaid the following named person were by the greatest numbers of votes chosen trustees as aforesaid Vis Samuel W. Goodsell, Charles Chase & John Chase to be known by the title of Trustees of the 3rd Methodist Episcopal Church of the town of Hunter.
