WestKill Feby 2 1854

At a meeting of the inhabitants of said place composed of the Members of Church and Society convened at there meeting house in accordance with previous  Notice which was duly announced in publick meetings, at least three Sabbath in succession before said meetings the Rev. E. A. Clark & Deacon H. Cole were called to preside at said meeting  and Alvin Bushnell was appointed secretary the following resolutions were unanimously  adopted

Resolved that we proceed to organize and incorporate a Society union  the  name & title of the Baptist Church and Society of Westkill.

Resolved that we have six trustees chosen by ballot after balloting  it appeared that the following persons were duly elected  Viz  Aaron Bushnell, Abraham Hare, Alvin Bushnell, Horace B. Briggs, John Bishop, Elyah P. Bushnell. The trustees elect then proceeded to cast lots for their terms of office which enacted M. Finney (Ferris?)  John Bishop and Horace B. Briggs drew for one year  Aaron Bushnell, Elyah P. Bushnell drew for two years  Abraham & Alvin Bushnell drew for three years.

Resolved that these proceedings be passed by the presiding officers   

Recorded with the county clerks office  The meeting then adjourned & met again at the same place on the 1st Thursday of February 1855
