Coxsackie Boarding Houses, Hotels and Resorts
Extracted from Beers, History of Greene County, by Annette Campbell
There are three hotels in the village. The Hamilton House, at the corner of Reed and River streets, was recently built by the present proprietor, Alexander Cummings. The hotel is first-class in every respect, and is largely patronized by the traveling public. Carriages from the hotel connect with all trains and Boats. The livery stable connected with this house, is in charge of E. R. Cummings.
