dedicating a new headstone for Lt. John Halbert on July 1st.

Registrar of the Gen. Samuel Hopkins Chapter of the DAR, at the Major General Samuel Hopkins Grave Dedication held on May 19th, 2012 at the Spring Garden Cemetery in Henderson Kentucky.

Pres. Gang Presented Sister NYS Pres. Mary Raye Casper the 1st Gen. Jacob Brown Certificate and a General Society of the War of 1812 Bicentennial medal on April 21st, 2012 at the US Daughters of the War of 1812; Gen. Jacob Brown Chapter Charter Meeting held at the Adams County Club in Adams, NY.
On Thursday, April 12, 2012, State Registrar and ROTC Officer, Wayne THurston presented the Society of the War of 1812 awards at the Cornell ROTC recognition ceremony. As a guest presenter, he presented awards to Army Cadet Alanna Kots, Air Force Cadet Grant George, and Navy MIDN Joshua Ernise.
The 1812 Certificates and Ribbon Bar and Medals were Awarded
for outstanding academic excellence and high moral character.
