Roxalana Druse is finally here! Author Jim Greiner recounts

the town of Warren on December 18, 1884 that brought Mrs. Druse to the
gallows in Herkimer. William Druse was killed at the hands of his abused

On February 28, 1887 Roxalana Druse paid for her crime and became the
last woman to be hanged in New York State.
