He was married three times before he died June 17, 1927. He married (1) MARY JEMIMA SAYLOR of Bloomfield. She died at the age of twenty. They had two children. NAOMI L. BURR, daughter of WILLIAM & SOPHIA (REDNER) BURR was born in 1838. NAOMI (BURR) VALLEAU helped to found the Burr Church in Hillier. The children of NAOMI (BURR) VALLEAU intermarried with other well-known Prince Edward County residents. She married in 1856 JESSE WELLINGTON HARNS of Ameliasburgh who died in the first year of the marriage. Child, HARNS: 15 i JESSE WELLINGTON HARNS m KITTIE DENIKE of Tyendinaga At the age of twenty-three, NAOMI married second HIRAM BUCKLEY VALLEAU. He helped, along with his sister, to build the Burr Church. He married PHOEBE A. SAYLOR of Bloomfield. Children, BURR: 20 i EDNA BURR m WILLOUGHBY W. WESLEY KENTON BURR, born 18 Apr 1843, the youngest son of WILLIAM & SOPHIA (REDNER) BURR became a preacher.
