PIONEER COOLEY FAMILY


 
1.  STEPHEN COOLEY lived in Rodman around 1800.  He may have been a native of
Connecticut.  Three of his brothers, JOHN, ASA, and DAVID settled in this town 
and reared families.  All of his children were born in Rodman between 1811 and 
1831. The lady who had the family bible  was Mrs. Elam Tuell of Rodman.  Stephen 
died 5 Nov 1855 aged 72 years, 2 months, 6 days, and is buried in Fairview 
Cemetery, Rodman, with his wife.
