New York State, married ELIZABETH (?) b. 1829,England. Their

I am looking for descendants, siblings and the names of Smith Burtch's
parent's, and his wife, Mary Eligh.
They were listed in the 1810 census for Montgomery County, and in the
1820 census of Rossee, St. Lawrence County.
In the late 1700, Duchess County was full of Burtch's.
Mary Eligh was born somewhere in The Mohawk Velley Region of New York
State.
I am also trying to get some information on my Great-grandfather,Elijah
Burtch. He was born somewhere in the U.S.,
came to Canada and was married on Dec. 10, 1861. He went to fight in the
Civil War for the States after 1867.
He died in the States and is buried there. I would like to know how I can
get his service records, and find out
how he died and where he is buried.
He was the son of Lewis Burtch and Rachel (Unknown), and the grandson of
Smith Burtch.
If there are any relatives out there of these Burtch's, I would really
like to hear from you. Thanks.Smi

Looking for others researching the following CASLER, DINGMAN,
DAMON or BENNETT families:
Jared CASLER (wife unknown) a native of New York and of German
descent was a soldier in the Revolution. He was the father of
five children and reportedly lived to be ninety years old.
One of his children Henry CASLER was a blacksmith by trade and died about 1842 in Turin, Lewis Co., NY. Henry married Mary Dingman daughter of Jared DINGMAN (Jared DINGMAN was badly wounded in Revolution, became totally blind and lived for forty years without his sight). Henry and Mary had a family of seven children; Edgar S., Daujel D., Angeline and Sarah (other names unknown).
The eldest child Edgar S. CASLER was born in Watertown, NY, Jan 15, 1824. Edgar's youth was spent in Jefferson Co., NY. He apprenticed in wagon making and moved west in 1854 to settle in Janesville, Rock Co., Wis. In 1847, while still in NY, Edgar CASLER married Zenana DAMON, daughter of Noah and Betsy DAMON, they had two children, Ellen and Matilda. Zenana died in 1850 and in 1851 Edgar married Theodosia BENNETT, daughter of Larry and Mary BENNETT. Eight children were born of this union: Clara, Lucy, Alma, Jennie, Nellie, Ida, Henry and Ernest. If you have any info on any of the family lines mentioned above please e-mail me at grotejm@aol or grotejm@msn. I'm more then willing to share what information I have.

I found what I think is one of my Asa Harris' (born 1762 CT)
Revolutionary War Pension files. But I can't verify it's him.
These Revolutionary War Records have this Asa Harris born 1762.
Died March 17or19 1835, Champion, Jefferson Co. NY. Says he lived
in Champion NY his last 30 years.
Married Nov 20, 1784 in Cheshire?, NH, to Rachel Farr (born: Sep 4, 1765)
To verify him I need his parents name, or to find a son Daniel. The
Pension files list a bunch of his kids that were alive in 1850, but no
Daniel was listed. But he would have been quite old by then.
Thanks very much for anything on anyone here.
