1.  CHARLES KNAPP, (son of JOHN and CATHERINE (LEBERT) KNAPP) was born in
Dieburg Germany in 1825.  He and his wife came to Watertown in 1846 as
newlyweds, along with his parents, his sister ANNA, his brother ADAM KNAPP
and his wife ELIZABETH WOLFERT and a nephew, ANTHONY WEAVER.  The Knapps 
settled in Rosiere, Town of Cape Vincent around 1851. 

He married in Germany
