1.  JOHN MARSH came from Mayfield, NY with his wife and family and
located in Lorraine about 1818.  He had six children, of whom only WILLIAM
is known.

2.  WILLIAM MARSH, (son of JOHN and (---) MARSH) settled in Ellisburgh
on a farm later owned by his son, WILLIAM.  He built here and lived in a log
house, until he was able to afford a better one.

He married

HANNAH GARDNER, who was the daughter of EZEKIEL M. 
                and RUTH (TANNER) GARDNER.

              BENJAMIN and LUCRETIA (ROWE) ALLEN

    5   iii   WILLIAM L. MARSH married ELIZA JANE ALLEN, daughter of 
              JAMES and SALLY (SHELDON) ALLEN

    6    iv   JENETTE MARSH married DAVID WHEELER

    7     v   ROSETTE MARSH married NORMAN B. FISH, son of             
              JONATHAN and ANNA (CARTER) FISH

    8    vi   RUTH J. MARSH married WILLIAM BEEBE
