1. JONATHAN OSBORN and his family moved from Union County N.J. to
North Wilna, Jefferson County NY in 1842. They owned a farm ten miles north
of Carthage on route 26. That farm is now part of Fort Drum. Jonathan Osborn
died on Feb. 28, 1857 and is burried at Hill side cemetery in Antwerp. The
family farm was sold off in 1864 to Amos Barber who owned a farm adjoining
the Osborn farm.
