1.  JACOB VISGER was born 22 Mar 1808 at Manheim, Herkimer County, NY.  
In 1825 he lived in the Town of Orleans,  where his first child, JOHN, 
was born.  By 1841 the family had moved to the Town of Alexandria, and 
then in 1843 they are found on Wells (Wellesley) Island. 
He died 24 Feb 1870 in Cedar Falls (possibly Iowa).

He married

HANNAH FROUE or FREER, who was born 18 Aug 1808 at Kingston, Ulster County, NY.
Most of this family moved to Wisconsin...in the LaCrosse area and the Vernon
County area.  By 1879 or so they were out of NY and into the Minnesota and
Wisconsin areas.
