Orrin Lake (1805-aft1892). Born in Delaware County, NY.; the son of Warmer Lake and Elizabeth Williams. Baptist Preacher, Farmer. Migrated to Ridge, Town of Mount Morris, Livingston County, NY ca 1830. His grandfather was John Lake (ca 1728-ca 1816) of Newtown, Fairfield County, CT. who was the son of Edward Lake (b. 13 July 1662). According to this information, Edward would have been age 68 when John Lake was born. It is possible this information is not correct. Edward was the son of Thomas Lake (1615-1676) and Mary Goodyear. This has not been proven.

Orrin married: 1) Sarah P. 2) Elmira B. Former residence: Main St. Mount Morris. 1851 & 1852 he served as State Senator; Justice of the Peace 12 years; Town Supervisor 7 years. Son Jerome A. Lake married Jouise M. Curtiss
