Looking for parents names for Margaret Wooliver OLCOTT. Margaret was married to Joseph OLCOTT Jr. She died about 1835,and is buried in Messenger's Bay Cemetery, Madison County, New York. Margaret's brother (first name unknown) died about the same time as Margaret. Later, Joseph married the brother's wife, Sabre WOOLIVER.

Looking for any information on August BERG. Have a few census forms stating he was born in Germany about 7/1864. He and Mary JOHNSON had a son Roy in Batavia, NY. in 1900. Federal census in 1920 show the family in Georgetown, NY. Also know Mary died in Georgetown in 1930. Roy married Alice FOSTER who was born in Geogetown 2/23/1907. Roy died 9/7/1976 and is buried in Hillside Cemetary in Georgetown along with Alice who died 2/27/1978. Alice come from a very big family that we know little about. Searching for information about Henry C. CRUIKSHANK who lived in Brookfield. Born 1877 died 1945 in North Pitcher ,NY Father Eugene CRUIKSHANK from Deerfield, NY Mother Mary BEEBE.

Henry was married to or lived with Elizabeth ROCKWELL who later married Scott DEFENDORF of Herkimer. Second wife Mary SANDSPREE. He was either a cop or fireman in city of Herkimer in charge of lights out during World War 1. Also used the name Harry or John Henry.
Henry was my Great Grandfather. Would love to find a picture of him! Any information would be helpful.

i am looking for info on my gggrandfather Franklin Mason DERBY. he was born in Stockbridge NY on Jan 12 1836. He served in the Civil War. He lived in Eaton at the time and enlisted in Morrisville. He married Laura Jane BECK in Oneida on Jan 11 1865. She was born in Lewis County on Oct 13 1841. They moved to Michigan shortly after. He died in Manistee MI on Oct 12 1904. I would like to find info on his parents and any brothers or sisters. Any information would be appreciated as I feel like I'm at a dead end.

My Greatgrandfather Reuben COMSTOCK was born in Onieda, NY on Dec.1,1827 or Dec.1,1829, There is a conflict between cemetary records and the US census of 1880. He died 1913 and is buried in Sodus Rural Cemetary in Wayne Co. NY. What I would like to find out is who his Mother and Father were. Are there any birth records available for the township of Onieda. Would appreciate any information on the COMSTOCK Family in Madison County.

Hello I'm researching the possibility that my Lucy Jane (Last name Unk) who was married to a Garrison/Garrettson BALLARD. Lucy was born in Madison Co., NY about 1810. She married Garrison BALLARD and they Moved to Otto, NY. She died in 1844 in Otto, NY.

I have found a file on rootsweb.com That has a Lucy I. CHAFFEE born in Peterboro, Madison Co., NY, and Died in Otto, NY. her parents were listed as Walter CHAFFEE and Anna HYDE. She is listed as being married to a Garrett BALLARD.

I was wondering if any one had info on these people. The names and places are too close. To me it seems like we are talking about the same people. I have emailed the contact from the file I found on Rootsweb, but no answer as yet. If anyone has any info, PLEASE let me know. Thank You.

Can anyone tell me what churches there were in Lenox, in Madison County in the 1830s? My GtGtGtGrandfather, Jesse STETSON lived there then,and his daughter Susan STETSON married Miron (or Myron) WOODWORTH in 1839. I wonder if there would be any church or other records about that wedding. Their son, Anson was born in 1840, I'm not sure just where, and their daughter Ellen was born in Perryville in 1843. Any help locating possible records of these events, or suggestions where I can search will be greatly appreciated. Miron is listed in Fenner in the 1840 census.

Mary MAHAN born to Wm and Helen/Ellen MAHAN, Cazenovia, NY. A brother, John MAHAN b. 5 July 1827. Mary's birth unknown. An Ellen MAHAN was listed in the 1855 census for Cazenovia and a death notice for a Wm MAHAN was in the March 1849 Whig Newspaper. This article stated there was an inquest, but Cazenovia records do not cover this period. Any information on a Mary Mahan, Madison County from 1820-1920 or possible leads to inquest records would be appreciated.

I am searching for my grandmother's family. The INMAN family lived in Madison, Madison Co, Ny in the 1800'S. This is also where the MACOMBER family came from I think. I know the Early INMAN's lived in Fenner, Ny. There is a Inman Cemetery in Fenner.

These names are listed in my mother's baby book .
My grandfather Floyd Uri BRONSON, married: Mable Emma INMAN and after her 3 daughters were born Somewhere around 1917 to 1920 she was sent to a state hospital to live out her life for depression. The hospital was Marcy State Hospital, Marcy, Herkimer Co, NY. Emma (Mable) died Dec 23, 1948 when I was 9 yrs old.
