Alfred Harrington, well known Canastotas man, died Thursday morning at the home
of his brother, Orla Harrington. Mr. Harrington had been a cripple since he was a child,
and of late had been having trouble with his heart, but had always stuck manfully to
his work. He has for some time been employed by Saul Fine in repairing department of
his shoe store. He had worked on Wednesday and went to bed well as usual. Thurs-
day morning Mrs. Harrington went to call him ad found him breathing heavily and he
died before Dr. Barton, who was summoned, could get there.
He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Harrington and is survived by a brother,
Orla Harrington, and a sister, Mrs. Nathan Evans. The funeral will be held Saturday at
2:30 at the home of Mrs. Evans.
