A. I. Valliere Died Yesterday At Home Here 
 
 Alexander I. Valliere,79, of 247 Boston St., died yesterday at his home after a long 
illness. Born at Verona Nov.17, 1881 he was the son of the late Joseph and Celina 
Lorman  Valliere. He had resided in the Oneida area all his life. Before his retirement 
he was employed 43 years at Marcellus Lumber Co. as a truck driver. Mr.Valliere 
was a communicant of St.Joseph's Church, and was member of Nest 1606, Order 
of Owls. 
 He is survived by his widow, the former Florence Fellows, one son, Raymond of 
Charlotte, N.C. two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Loveless of Verona, Mrs. Cecile Dixon of 
Oneida; three sisters, Mrs.Rose Smith, Mrs. Mary Bier, both of Oneida, Mrs. Louise 
Brown of Mesa, Ariz.; three brothers Jacob and Joseph both of Detroit, Mich. and 
Henry Valliere of Syracuse; several grandchildren, g-grandchildren, nieces and 
nephews. 
 Interment will be in Oneida Castle Cemetery.
