     Death of Mrs. Alice Yorton
After being in feeble health for some time past and confined to her bed for a week
or two, Mrs. Alice Yorton died at her home here about eight o'clock Sunday morning.
Had she lived until May she would have observed her 77th birthday. Her husband
William Yorton passed away in 1923 and previous to that time the couple had
celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in the company of their children and
grandchildren. Deceased was a member of the Clockville M. E. church and was a
woman of highest principle and sterling character and her memory will be revered
not only by her descendants but by many friends of the family as well. She is survived
by one daughter Mrs. Frank Pankhurst, three sons, Adelbert, Herbert and Marvin,
twelve grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the M. E. church on Wednesday
afternoon, Rev. C. E. Fry officiating and interment will be made in Lenox Rural Cemetery.
