  ONEIDA.- Dr. Beatrice K. Ingalls, 82, of West Road, Oneida, died Wednesday morning 
in St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, where she had been a medical patient for the past 
four weeks. 
  Born Aug. 24, 1899, in Oneida, she was the daughter of Harrison and Jennie Parker 
  Dr. Ingalls, before her retirement, was a professor of English at SUNY-Brockport and 
SUNY-Cortland for more than 25 years. She also taught at other universities. 
  She received her bachelor's degree from Syracuse University, her master's from Radcliffe 
College and her doctorate of philsophy and English literature from Radcliffe. Before enter-
ing her professional education and following her career in university educational instruction, 
Dr. Ingalls resided at the family home in Oneida. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal 
   Surviving are several cousins. (See Death Notice)
