Bernice L. Odonnell 
  Bernice L. Odonnell, 87, of Creek Road, died Thursday, June 3, 1999 at 
the Oneida Healthcare Center. 
  She was born in the town of Sullivan on March 2,1912, the daughter of 
Adelbert and Grace Russell Raymond. She was a life resident of the 
Chittenango area. 
  Mrs. Odonnell was employed for 15 years at the Gray-Syracuse Co., Manlius. 
  She was a member of the William Cain American Legion Post 1287 Ladies 
Auxiliary and was a past member of the Sullivan Home Bureau. 
  Surviving are her husband, Warren; a son and daughter-in-law, Bernard and 
Barbara Townsend of Canastota; a daughter and son-in-law, Caroline and L. 
James Button of Chittenango; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; 
and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Odonnell was predeceased by her first 
husband, Edgar Townsend, who died in 1942, and two sons, Robert Townsend, 
who died in 1955, and Edgar Townsend who died in 1987.
