  VERNON -- Charles H. Teeps, 66, of Oatman Rd., was pronounced dead at the Oneida City Hospital, early 
this morning after being stricken at home. 
 
  Born in Vernon Dec. 19, 1907, he was the son of Mrs. Daisy Carpenter Teeps Cobb and the late Peter 
Teeps. He was educated in the Vernon School System. On Nov. 18, 1935 he married the former Helen 
Laskowski in Vernon. The couple had resided on Peterboro St., Vernon, until moving to present address in 
1972. 
 
  He was employed in outside maintenance for Oneida Ltd. 
 
  He was a communicant of St. Catherine's Church, Vernon and a member of Oneida Ltd. Retirement Club. 
 
  Surviving besides his wife and mother of Oneida are two sons, James, Vernon, and Charles E. Teeps, at 
home; three sisters, Mrs. Carl (Goldie) Tracy, Verona, Mrs. Dorothy Teeps, Camden, and Mrs. Virginia 
Ernenwein, Aschtubula, Ohio; two grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and one aunt.
