Clarence Yorton Is Heart Attack Victim
Clarence H. Yorton, 58, Quality Hill, Canastota RD 2, died suddenly Tuesday morning
at his home from a heart attack.
Mr. Yorton was born July 5, 1898, at Canastota, the son of Herbert and Belle Vedder
Yorton. He had worked in Syracuse as an auto Mechanic for many years, returning to
Canastota 15 years ago. For the past four years he was employed as a road salesman
for the Canastota Garage.
He was married to the former Mabel Carlson who survives. Also surviving are one son,
William, in the Air Force, stationed at Otis AFB, Mass.; one daughter, Mrs. Frances T.
Lange, Oneida Castle; two brothers, Lester Yorton, Clinton; Willis Yorton, Canastota; one
sister, Mrs. Dorothy Yeman, Oneida; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home at 2 P. M. Friday.
Interment will be in the Lenox Rural Cemetery.
