Daniel Buyea

  Daniel Buyea, aged 83, the oldest resident of the First ward, Wednesday 
morning at his home on Mount Hope avenue. He had been a resident of that 
locality for 70 years, always, following the occupation of farmer. He was 
born in the town of Fenner, Oct. 30, 1840 and came to this city at the age of
13. Surviving besides his wife, are one daughter, Miss Nellie Buyea of this 
city, and a half-brother, William Yorton, of Clockville. Funeral services 
will be conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the house, Rev. George B. 
Swinnerton, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiating. Interment 
will be made in Glenwood Cemetery.
