EARLVILLE - Archie F. Bartlett, 79, of South Main Street, died unexpectedly, 
Jan. 8, 2000, at Community Memorial Hospital, Hamilton. 

He was born March 18, 1920, in Pratts Hollow, the son of Guy and Evelyn 
Morrow Bartlett and attended school in Munnsville. 

He served in the U.S. Army during World War 11 in the South Pacific. 

On March 5, 1947, in Oneida, Archie was married to Alyce P. Page. 

He was employed at SUNY-Morrisville until his retirement in 1980. 

He had been a self-employed dairy farmer until 1960 and at one time had 
worked for Oneida Ltd. in Sherrill. Mr. Bartlett had a great interest in 
antique automobiles. 

Surviving are his wife, Alyce Bartlett of Earlville; three sons and two 
daughters-in-law, Arlin and Marilee Bartlett of Middletown, Van and Mary 
Bartlett of Erieville and Adrian Bartlett of Earlville; five sisters and one 
brother Nettie Grabow of Oneida, Gladys Kratzer of Dickson, Ill., Violet 
Bartlett of Fayetteville, Fern Major of Wampsville and Norene and Gerry 
McIntosh of Adams Center; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Ralph 
Bartlett of Johnson City, Sheldon and Beverly Bartlett of Pratts Hollow and 
Richard and Betty Bartlett of Madison; two grandchildren, Brent Bartlett of 
Erieville and Christopher Bartlett of Middletown; and several nieces, nephews
and cousins.
