 SHERRILL - Fernail L. Walzak, 86, of 226 Leonard St., died early Thursday 
morning, Jan. 6, 2000, at University Hospital, Syracuse. 
 Fern was born Feb. 7, 1913, in Oneida, the daughter of Frank and Mary 
Richmond Mowers. She was a graduate of Oneida High School. 
 On July 7, 1939, in Pexville, Pa., Fern was married to Victor Walzak, a 
union which lasted until his death in 1986. 
 Mrs. Walzak was of the Christian faith.  Fern enjoyed painting and was an 
expert seamstress and enjoyed making miniature dolls.  In earlier years, Fern
was employed with the former Maxwell Steel Vault Company and the National 
Casket Company of Oneida. 
 Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Douglas Jon and Patricia Walzak 
of Albany; and four dear and special friends, Mrs. Ella Feldman, Marilyn and 
Jim Findley and Ella Meine, all of Sherrill. Fern was predecased by one 
brother, Seward Mowers; two sisters, Hilda Mowers and Gladys Jaeschke, and a 
special friend, Edith George.
