Gordon G. Fox 
  Gordon G. Fox, 88, formerly of Green Acres Mobile Terrace, died Tuesday, 
Feb. 23, 1999, at the Oneida Healthcare Center Extended Care Facility, 
following a lengthy illness. 
  He was born on March 21, 1910, in Oriskany Falls, the son of Burton and 
Grace Peck Fox. 
  Mr. Fox had lived in the Oriskany Falls area for many years, later living 
in Oneida for several years before moving to Stockbridge in 1975. 
  He had worked for the Madison County Highway Department as a Heavy 
Equipment Operator for 25, years, retiring in 1976. 
  Mr. Fox had been a member of the Stockbridge United Methodist Church. 
  He first married Bertha E. Snyder on May 21, 1949, in Canastota. She died 
Aug.16, 1988. He later married Elva Wallance Relf on Jan.13,1990, in Eaton. 
  Surviving are his wife; five sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Sharon 
Fox of Poolville, James and Beverly Fox of Hartselle, Ala., Douglas and Joan 
Fox of Newport, Roland and Trula Fox of Sherburne and Stewart and Antoinette 
Fox of Munnsville one daughter Alma Bikowsky of Hamilton; one step-son and 
step-daughters-in-law, Jack and Jeanne Kilpatrick of Waynesville, Mo.; two 
step-daughters and step-sons-in-law,Karen and Murray Chesebro of Jamesville 
and Carol and Gary Relf of Cazenovia; several grandchildren, great-grand-
children step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 
Mr. Fox was predeceased by a daughter, Charlotte Blinebery who died on Feb. 
3, 1987.
