Herbert Clarence Yorton

  Herbert Clarence Yorton, 82, died at his home at Quality Hill, RD 2, Saturday 
following an illness of several months. He was born in the town of Lincoln the 
son of William and Alice Daniels Yorton. 
  He moved to Quality Hill in 1907 and for many years operated a dairy farm. 
Twenty years ago he retired from farming and since has been associated with 
the Baker Grocery store. 
  Mr. Yorton is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Baker Yorton, three sons 
Clarence and Willis Yorton, Canastota, Lester Yorton, Clinton; a daughter Mrs. 
William Yeman Canastota; a brother Marvin Yorton of Wampsville; a sister Mrs. 
Frank Pankhurst of Clockville and seven grandchildren, and several nieces 
and nephews. 
  Funeral services in charge of J. Homer Ball were held Monday at the home at 
2 P. M. with Rev. George W. Dolch pastor of the Methodist church officiating. 
Burial was in Lenox Rural Cemetery.
