Henry Delaney, (Patrick Henry Delaney, Jr.) a well known resident of the Sixth ward died this morning
about 7 o'clock at his home, No. 42 East Elm Street after an illness of several months. He had always
resided in this city. Surviving are his father, Patrick Delaney of this city; five brothers, Timothy and
Charles of Rome, Edward of Utica, Emmons of this city, and Herbert, who is with the American Army in
France. Funeral arrangements are not complete.
The deceased was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Oneida Council No. 473, Knights of Columbus, and the
Holy Name Society of St. Patrick's Church. He had been employed in the National Casket Factory for many
years. Funeral services will be conducted from St. Patrick's Church Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock,
privately. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
