  VERONA -- Harold J. Howe, 73, of 71 Greenfield Rd., died Saturday in the Oneida City Hospital, 
following a long illness. 
  Born in Munnsville July 17, 1901, he was the son of Benjamin and Emmajean Perkins Howe. He had been a 
resident of the Verona area for the past six years, moving there from Oneida. He married the former 
Norine Murphy in Oneida Sept. 4, 1923. 
  Mr. Howe was employed by the Associated Transport Co., prior to his retirement. 
  He was a member of Nest 1606, Order of the Owls and was a retired member of Local 317 of the Teamsters 
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Robert of Fair Oaks, Calif. and J. Lawrence Howe of Oneida 
Castle; two daughters, Mrs. Carol Redding, Oneida and Mrs. Robert (Janet) Haenlin of Pittsburg, Pa.; two 
brothers, Kirk and William Howe, both of Oneida; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
