Helen M. Fox, 81, of 51 E. Fifth St., died Tuesday morning, Nov. 23, 1999,
in the University Hospital, Syracuse, where she had been a patient for the
past 12 days.
She was born on May 1, 1918, in Oneida, the daughter of William and
Madeline Haberle Muhl.
A lifelong resident of this area, Mrs. Fox was a graduate of the Oneida
High School. Her husband, Lysle Fox predeceased her many years ago.
Mrs. Fox was a legal secretary at the offices of John Robertson, Attorney
at Law, in Canastota and had retired as a secretary with the New York State
Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. She was a member of St. Paul's United
Methodist Church and was formerly active with the various women's groups.
Surviving are one son, Robert W. Fox of Sylvan Beach; one granddaughter,
Kelly S. Fox of Sylvan Beach; and one grandson and his wife, Richard T. and
Heidi Fox of Sherrill. She was predeceased by a son, Richard H. Fox on Jan 3,
