Irviing D. Wilson, 78, of 225 Alandale Place, Tucson, died Thursday, Dec.
24, 1999, at his residence, following a lengthy illness.
Mr Wilson was a former resident of West Eaton and Oneida and had resided in
Tucson since 1992.
He was born Dec. 27, 1920 in Oneida, the son of Thomas and Edith Knapp
On April 22, 1942, he married the former Catherine Griesmyer in St.
Patrick's Church of Oneida.
Mr. Wilson had been employed as a road crew foreman for the New York State
Department of Transportation in both Oneida and Morrisville.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a 20 year member of the
Oneida National Guard.
Mr. Wilson was also a member of the Oneida Moose Lodge No. 421.
Surviving are his wife; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Rose
Wilson of Oneida; four daughters and three sons-in-law, JoAnn and Robert
Basiger of Tucson, Ariz., Patricia and David McCallum of Oneida, Rosemary
Riggall of Morrisville and Theresa and Mark Golden of California; 11 grand-
children; several great-grandchildren.
