Ira J. Warren Jr. 
  Ira J. Warren Jr., 50, of Route 5, died late Thursday evening, March 11, 
1999, in the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Syracuse, where he had 
been a patient for the past week. 
  He was born on May 31, 1948, in Oneida, the son of Ira and Evelyn N. Ballou
Warren. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a graduate of Oneida High 
School, Class of 1967. 
  Prior to his disability, Mr. Warren was employed as a bus driver and 
supervisor for the Madison County ARC. He was a member of the Loyal Order of 
the Moose, Oneida Chapter No. 421, the American Legion, Oneida Post 169 and 
was of the Presbyterian faith. Mr. Warren was a veteran of the Viet Nam War, 
serving with the U.S. Army. 
  Surviving are one daughter, Shannon Johnson; two brothers, John I. Warren 
of Sylvan Beach and Thomas W. Warren of Utica; five sisters, Mrs. Richard 
(Lowayna) Davenport of Brooktondale, Mrs. Dale (Judy) Huyck of Saranac, Mrs. 
Harold (Joanne) Friend of Sherrill, Mary Lou Brown of Canastota and Mrs. 
Robert (Sally) Myers of Buffalo; four grandchildren; and several nieces and
