Rites Held for John Kilts, 88 
  John A. Kilts, Clockville, died Friday morning at the home of his son, Harlan Kilts, 
Clockville, after a short illness. 
  He was born Oct. 13, 1872, in Clockville, the son of Peter and Matilda Douglas Kilts. 
  He married the former Nora Waffle on Nov. 8, 1896, in Wampsville. 
  Kilts was a resident of this area all his life. He was employed at the former Watson 
Wagon Works for many years. 
  He was a member of the Clockville Methodist Church. 
  Surviving besides his widow, are three sons, A. M. Kilts, Minoa; Laurel and Harlan, 
Clockville; one daughter, Mrs. Emerson Hawley, Costa Mesa, Calif.; one brother, 
Charles Kilts, Clockville, 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchildren, several nieces 
and nephews. 
  Funeral services were held at the Homer Ball Funeral Home, Monday afternoon. 
The Rev. Nelson Streeter, pastor of the Clockville Methodist Church officiating. 
Burial was in the Clockville Cemetery,
