James J. Pino

CANASTOTA  James J. Pino, 80, of 326 S. Peterboro St., died Wednesday, March
10, 1999, at the home of his sister, Mrs. Carmella Ranieri, of East Seneca 
Avenue, Canastota, following a long illness. 
He was born on July 16, 1917, in Canastota, the son of Concetto and Anna 
Grasso Pino. 
He married Josephine Tianello on Nov. 21, 1940, in St. Agatha's Church, 
Canastota. The couple observed their 50th wedding anniversary in 1990. Mrs. 
Pino died April 29, 1991. 
Mr. Pino was employed at Diemolding Corp. in Canastota for 35 years, retiring
in 1984. 
He and his family formerly owned and operated a fruit and vegetable stand and
a small engine repair service for more than 25 years on East Seneca Avenue in
Mr. Pino was a member of St. Agatha's Church of Canastota.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, James Pino at home and Dr. 
Christopher and Lynn Pino ofWilliamsville; one brother, Andrew Pino of 
Canastota; three sisters, Antonina Pino, Carmella Pino Ranieri, and Mrs. Paul
(Marie Jennie) Pino Vecchio all of Canastota; two grand-daughters, Lucienne 
Cook and Marisa Pino; two grandsons, Christopher Pino and Nicholas Pino and 
several nieces and nephews.
