  J. Lucina Wimmer 
  J. Lucina Wimmer, 89,North Court Street Road, died Monday afternoon, Jan. 
18, 1999, in the Rome Nursing Home, where she had been a patient for the 
past three days. 
  She was born on Sept. 27, 1909, in the Town of Lenox, the daughter of 
Alphonso and Julia Fisher. She was a lifelong resident of the Canastota area 
and was educated in Canastota and South Bay schools. 
  She married Edward A. Wimmer on Nov. 18, 1933, in St. Agatha's Church. 
  Mrs. Wimmer assisted her husband in the oprtation and ownership of the 
family farm. She was a communicant of St. Agatha's Church and a member of 
the church's Altar-Rosary Society. 
  Surviving are her husband; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Bernet J. 
and Hazel Wimmer of North Bay, Edward A. Wimmer Jr. and Michael J. and 
Eileen Wimmer, all of Canastota; one daughter, Mary J. Wimmer of Morgantown, 
W. Va.; two brothers, Bernard J. Fisher and Robert Fisher, both of 
Canastota; six grandchildren, Sandra Zorn Shari Andrewski, James Wimmer, 
Wendy Heath, Christine Wimmer and Benjamin Wimmer; six great-grandchildren 
and several nieces and nephews.
