 KENNETH B. WHITWORTH, 81, of Peterboro Rd., died this morning at Oneida City
Hospital where he had been a patient for the last week. Born in New York City
Aug. 19, 1894, he was the son of George and Mary Carmichael Whitworth. He 
married the former Beulah Gilbert on Feb. 21, 1919. She died Jan. 7, 1968. 
Mr. Whitworth was an Auto parts wholesaler for many years and was a deputy 
sheriff in Madison County for more than 20 years. He was a member of the 
First Presbyterian Church, Sherrill Lodge 1073 F & AM, Ziyara Temple in
Utica, and Munnsville Post 54, American Legion. A World War 1 Army Veteran in 
the 27th Division, he also served in the Army during the Mexican Border War. 
He was a former member of the New York Athletic Club. He is survived by one 
sister, Mrs. Ruth W. Hoinsberger, of Stanton, Va. and four grandchildren. His
only son George Whitworth died Jan. 18, 1961.
