MUNNSVILLE - Kenneth H. Berger, 69, of 5789 Rocks Road, died Monday, Feb. 14,
2000, at Community Memorial Hospital, Hamilton, following a brief illness. 
He was born on July 7, 1930, in Tupper Lake, the son of Robert and Virginia 
Dutrey Berger. 
Ken had spent his early years in Potsdam and Colton, attending the Potsdam 
schools. He bad lived in the Munnsville and Canastota areas for the past 28 
years. He had worked for McIntosh Box & Pallet Co. Inc., in Bernhards Bay, 
retiring in 1986. 
Mr. Berger had previously worked as a truck driver for several area 
businesses. He had also worked for Titan Homes of Canastota, and had  
been involved in farming on area farms for 16 years. 
Ken was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the U.S. Army. 
He married Irene M. Greenwood on May 5, 1953, in Potsdam. 
Surviving are his wife; five sons and four daughters-in-law, Kenneth and 
Sharon Berger of Munnsville, Arthur and Jill Berger of Morrisville, Clifton 
Berger, Lowell and Amy Berger and Kelly and Jamie Berger, all of Munnsville; 
three daughters and two sons-in-law, Caroline and Harry Thibault of 
Munnsville, Ruth and Tom Clary of Russell and Leta Berger of Hamilton; four 
brothers and one sister-in-law, Bruce Berger of Potsdam, Gene and Gretchen 
Berger of West Russell, Robert Berger of Potsdam and Roger Berger of Arizona;
two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Donald Champine of Potsdam and  
Shelley and Jay Moriarty of Stillwater; 21 grandchildren; seven great-grand-
children; and several nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by two 
brothers, Vernon Berger and Rolland Berger.
